A lower Full with a self-contained manual inflation route.

The main tradeoff

Manual effort and a 300 lb total limit; Full does not establish two-adult capacity.

The Intex 64762E is useful for a very specific reason: the Full mattress carries its own manually operated foot pump, so inflation does not require an electrical supply or a separate pump. It suits a camper who wants that simple fallback and a household keeping an occasional bed where outlets are inconvenient. Its limitation is equally clear. Someone must do the pumping, and a ten-inch profile remains close to the floor. Choose it for a workable setup method rather than expecting the convenience of a powered, raised guest bed.

Intex specifies 54 inches in width, 75 inches in length and a maximum load of 300 pounds. The load is especially important because a Full label can suggest a two-person bed without explaining the total rating. This model does not gain a 600-pound limit from another Full or Queen in the catalog. If two people are considering it, compare their combined planned load directly with 300 pounds, and assess whether the available width is acceptable to both. Size and load answer different questions.

Compare Full room savings and bedding

The mattress occupies about 28.1 square feet at its documented dimensions. Compared with a 60-by-80-inch Queen, that saves six inches across the room and five inches along it. Those savings may preserve a doorway or make a tent layout possible. They also remove sleeping area, so a slightly easier room layout is not automatically a better sleeping arrangement. Mark the rectangle on the floor before committing, then add room to operate the pump and move around the bed.

A standard US Full fitted sheet is the sensible place to start. Check the sheet's pocket and elastic against the ten-inch mattress when inflated. The “velvety” finish described by Intex is a surface feature, not a reason to skip bedding. If the bed is intended for a tent, keep bedding choices and ground conditions in the same plan: mattress thickness does not provide an established insulation rating, and the product page does not justify a cold-weather recommendation.

Plan the self-contained foot-pump setup

The built-in foot pump gives this product a documented no-mains route. Intex quotes roughly 3.5 minutes for inflation, but effort, technique and conditions can affect a manual setup. Leave time to learn the supplied operating instructions before the first night. Place the mattress on a clear, suitable surface and make the pump area accessible. A built-in mechanism is only convenient if the room layout allows it to be used without twisting around luggage or a tent wall.

There is also a two-in-one valve for an optional electric or manual external pump. That makes the foot pump a useful independent method without forcing every setup to be manual. If a pump is already owned, confirm that its adapter fits the actual valve and follow the mattress instructions. The external pump is optional equipment, not an included electric upgrade. For packing, release air through the documented valve arrangement and follow the exact bed's instructions rather than assuming that the foot mechanism reverses into powered deflation.

Decide whether a different Full is needed

The 64762E is an honest match for the questionnaire combination Full, lower profile and no household outlet. “Built-in pump” also applies here, but it means a foot pump. It should not be interpreted as an electric pump, automatic shutoff or overnight pressure regulation. Buyers who dislike repetitive pumping may prefer a battery-powered external-pump package. Buyers prioritizing a higher bed should compare height directly; a raised model may trade extra bulk and electrical requirements for a different entry height.

Intex identifies Fiber-Tech interior construction and a velvety sleeping surface. These establish materials and design, not verified comfort or durability in use. This assessment does not include a hands-on sleep test. The strongest purchase case rests on the combination actually documented: a Full footprint, a 300-pound total limit, ten-inch height and a self-contained manual inflation method. If any one of those limits is a poor fit, the foot-pump convenience is unlikely to compensate.
